What dog goes good with a dachshund "weenie dog"?

Question by Chelsea Pong: What dog goes good with a dachshund "weenie dog"?
We really want to get another dog but we're afraid our dog will feel left out or unloved. But we want someone for him to play with when everyone's gone. We wanted a golden retriever because they're very friendly but we're afraid it'll be to rough with such a small dog. Should we just get another dachshund? I just don't want him to feel unloved. Anyone else ever had a problem like this? Please share your thoughts. Thanx! :-D

Most likely another dachshund. I had an aggresive female once, but we got a male labrador and she absoloutely loved him! She was so upset we he died. Just get a dog of the opposite sex that is known to be calm around other dogs. Check the animal shelters around you.

What is the worst "designer dog"?

Question by Nettik: What is the worst "designer dog"?
Now, I realize that designer dogs are just mutts and none of them are the "best" designer dog, but some crosses really bother me.

As for me, these are the "breeds" that bother me the most:

And any of the poodle crosses.

I hate a mix between two dogs of a totally different size. That is dangerous to do, breeding those.

Machine Washable and extremely durable, Tinkle Belts are made with a double layer of diaper flannel. The closure is constructed with industrial strength velcro. The Tinkle Belts stays in place, but is not uncomfortable for your pet. To find your dog's size: Measure your dog's waist. The Tinkle Belt should be snug, but not tight. XS 10-14 inch waist, SM 14-17 inch waist, MED 17-20 inch waist, LARGE 20-23 inch waist, XL 23-26 inch waist Tinkle Belts came from a need. We had several misbehaving boy dogs in our home who just couldn't seem to get it. Our mini rat terrier, Herbie learned to aim his stream outside of his crate. I scoured the stores and the web in search of a product that would relieve the problem. I tried many products, but nothing seemed to work. Unable to find what I wanted, I designed my own unique, patented belly band, the Tinkle Belt. The unique design provides extra protection at the source of the problem and is still comfortable for your pet. I am happy to report that they are a success in our home. We realized that others could benefit from this product, so we had Tinkle Belts professionally manufactured. I am thrilled to be able to share them with other pet owners. If you have this problem in your home, you know how stressful and embarrassing it can be! If extra absorbency is needed, a panty liner may be affixed to the lining of the Tinkle Belt. Tinkle Belts are perfect for use when you're home or away from home, but you don't want to confine your dog. They are also ideal for travel in the car or on a plane or in dog friendly stores and restaurants. Dogs with incontinence issues can resume leading more normal lives. Best of all, they deliver peace of mind and peace with your beloved companion, even if he's not perfect.
